The last month has been busy for the Iliad Solutions team. We took every opportunity to meet customers and prospective partners on home soil and overseas.

One memorable outing took us to the Payments Association networking event in Cardiff, produced in partnership with FinTech Wales. Following successful regional gatherings in Manchester and Newcastle last year the Payments Association took this popular event to the Welsh capital, and it didn’t disappoint.

Payments Association events like this are an inclusive and welcoming environment for payment professionals who contribute and invest in the payments community.

The discussions we had featured a wide range of hot topics including the current trends, technologies, and regulatory changes faced by our industry. Valuable insights were shared helping keep everyone informed on the big issues and opportunities.

These sessions are ideal for networking with industry peers, potential clients, and partners. They give valuable time to connect and the chance to explore future collaborative opportunities.

The gathering also gave the chance to share knowledge, experiences, and to learn from leaders in our field. It was great to meet Sarah Jones, the CEO of FinTech Wales for instance.

With my Iliad hat on I was able to update those I met with the latest developments in payment testing solutions, products, and services outlining new tools and technologies to benefit their businesses. It was time well spent.

By attending, I came away better informed with some great new introductions made and existing relationships strengthened. As a Wales-focused event, it also provided some additional insights specific to this market. I’d highly recommend attending in the future.

The next Payments Association event PA@TheCity takes place on June 11 at 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Balls Brothers Austin Friars 10-11 Austin Friars, London and we are excited to be attending again.
