Community is important – PAY360 2024
Having recently spent 2 days at the PAY360 Conference, Jill Pyper, Chief Operating Officer, Iliad Solutions provides feedback.
With over 4000 payment professionals and around 100 exhibitors all under one roof at the ExCeL London, Pay360 was a standout event for me.
There is nothing quite like meeting face-to-face with payment peers and colleagues to build community. That’s exactly what PAY360 2024 achieved. I hope you were one of the many people I had the privilege to spend time with. It was a unique few days developing knowledge, providing insights into the latest payment trends, connecting with industry colleagues, and making new contacts.
For me PAY360 was important for several reasons:
Building Relationships
Networking provided an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow delegates, potential clients, partners, and industry colleagues as well as opportunities leading to future collaborations.
Iliad has a great story to tell and we had the perfect audience to engage with. Whether it was evangelising about t3, our renowned payments testing and certification platform, or outlining how we are taking our products to new markets, the conference facilitated this.
Knowledge Exchange
Engaging with other leading figures in the payments industry allowed attendees to exchange ideas, discuss industry trends, and learn from each other’s experiences. This was of particular importance to me.
Business Development
PAY360 was attended by key players from the sector including vendors, financial institutions, and technology providers – it was an invaluable few days to build business. The break-out areas allowed the Iliad team to outline our payment testing products and services, explore potential business opportunities, and generate leads.
Staying Informed
Engagement with other delegates introduced the Iliad team to diverse perspectives and industry developments. By staying connected with others in our field, it helps us stay informed about the latest trends, regulations, and market shifts.
To summarise, PAY360 was important in helping me foster professional growth, keeping Iliad competitive in the industry, and to seize new opportunities. I am so pleased to have attended. We must all stay relevant and this event helped me to do that.
The reason Iliad has been around for over 20 years, providing market-leading payments testing solutions, is because we keep our fingers on the pulse of what’s coming next in the payments space. By attending events like this, we’re able to keep informed on practical, payments applications making sure our testing products can best serve whatever is coming up in the next generation of payment schemes. By doing this, we help our current clients grow in the market, but also help wider financial institutions in the market to test, introduce and onboard new payments systems. It was good to meet so many at PAY360.
The Iliad team had an impactful few days, building community is important. We will be back in 2025!
